Emergency Numbers Every international Worker Must Know in Israel

Nobody plans for an emergency. But when something goes wrong – a medical crisis, a fire, a road accident – knowing what to do can change everything.

Save these numbers in your phone today.

The Big Three – Call These First

101 – Magen David Adom (Ambulance)

For medical emergencies, injuries, or unconscious persons.

100 – Police (Mishtara)

For crime, threats, accidents, or suspicious situations.

102 – Fire Department

For fires, gas leaks, or trapped persons.

Other Important Numbers

1201 – Electric Emergency (IEC)

For downed power lines or electrical hazards.

103 – Gas Emergency

If you smell gas or suspect a gas leak.

105 – National Water Authority

For burst pipes or water flooding.

Specifically for Foreign Workers

1-800-354-751 – Foreign Worker Hotline

1202 – Eran – Emotional First Aid

1-800-500-600 – Yad L'Oleh

If You Call – What to Say

Operators may not speak your language. Stay calm and use these words:

"Ezra!" – Help!

"Ambulans" – Ambulance

"Mishtara" – Police

Give your address clearly – street name and city. This is the most important information.

⚠️ If you cannot speak, dial 100 and stay on the line. Police may send help even if you say nothing.
